You will find the OKER-CHEMIE GMBH at the bottom of the Harz mountains, right in the neighbourhood of the old emperor city Goslar.
In the course of a "Management-Buy-Out" the shareholders Bernd-Dieter Kind and Detlef Kühling have acquired the entire operative business of the Chemische Fabriken Oker and Braunschweig AG (since 1871 in Goslar / shareholder is the former BAYER subsidiary company H. C. Starck) with effect of 01/01/2000.
The production and supply system, which is being transferred into the newly founded OKER-CHEMIE GMBH, consists of the main product line "desiccant" (= all common types of silica gel, with and without colour indicator), aswell as aluminium salts in solid and liquid form (aluminium sulphate / poly-aluminium chloride / potassium alum).
The company is focusing on the world-wide import and export business and is co-operating in close partnerships with leading European and Asian manufacturers in the area of "adsorbents".
